Uniform

​We really believe in encouraging our children to take pride in their appearance and to be smart. This helps with our school value of respect and in order for our school to be truly inclusive, uniform should be exactly that - uniform - so that no-one stands out. Our pupils individuality and uniqueness can and will be encouraged in many other ways! Uniform and PE kit orders can be made online at: studentuniform.co.uk.
  • Black skirt or trousers. Trousers should not be ‘fashion trousers’ i.e. wide, long or low cut at the waist - traditional, formal school trousers are required. Trousers should not be cords or jeans.  Skirts can be either pleated or straight and should be just above the knee when worn. Tights or socks can be worn with skirts.
  • Corbridge Middle School maroon sweatshirt.
  • Sky blue polo shirt or pale blue shirt.
  • Black socks or tights for cold weather.
  • Plain black school shoes or plain black polishable trainers with solid black soles, laces and logos. Fabric trainers are not permitted. Black polishable boots are also acceptable provided they are ankle length. Boots higher than the ankle are not permitted.
  • During school year 2024-25, Year 7 & 8 pupils may wear grey skirts, trousers, tights and socks, as we are gradually phasing ‘grey’ out in favour of black skirts or trousers.

  • Corbridge Middle School maroon shirt with school logo (compulsory).
  • Plain black ‘loose-fitting’ shorts (compulsory).
  • Corbridge Middle School maroon shorts (optional).
  • Corbridge Middle School outdoor rugby top (optional).
  • Corbridge Middle School blue base layer top (optional).
  • Long socks for outdoor lessons (optional).
  • Trainers.
  • Strong footwear (boots or trainers) for playing rugby / football / hockey (pupils should bring both types of footwear to outdoor lessons). Rugby / football boots should not be the fully metal studded type.
  • Please note: Earrings must be removed during P.E. lessons and sporting activities.
Second hand uniform is available free of charge where available. Please go to the school reception to enquire.
