Wecan is a registered charity supporting children, young people and adults with additional needs aged 6 to 30 years.
We are currently recruiting Support Workers to support our children and young people to access a wide range of leisure activities and local events during our term time Saturday Clubs and school holidays.
Experience of working with children and young people and an NVQ (or equivalent) in a Childcare related subject is desirable but not essential as training is provided.
As staff have the opportunity to work on a permanent or casual basis, the following hours are available (not all of these hours/shifts have to be worked):-
Rate of Pay is £7.56 - £8.10 per hour (depending on experience)

- Term Time Saturdays – 10.45am to 2.15pm, with option to work for our Adult Service until 6pm.
- Easter Holidays and Half Term Holidays (Feb, May & Oct) – one day each week 9.30am to 3.30pm
- Summer Holidays – three days per week for five weeks – 9.30am to 3.30pm
