Cross Country County Championships 2013

Ten children from school qualified to represent Tynedale at the Northumberland County Championships by finishing in the top 16 of the Tynedale area championships. The race was held at Temple Park, South Shields under very difficult, wet conditions. All ten participants competed well and finished the course. The most successful being Rhianna Nitsch who came 15th in the minor girls race, and thus qualified to represent Northumberland in the Inter-Counties Championships which are to be held in Guisborough. Well done to everybody and especially to Rhianna. Good luck for the next round.
